Hello, travel lovers! I’m Ahmad, your tour coordinator, and I can’t wait to assist you in having an incredible experience at the Pushkar International Camel Fair Festival in Rajasthan, India, along with the Golden Triangle tour.
If you love camels, cultural heritage activities, and enjoy mingling with crowds to capture unforgettable moments, then the Pushkar Camel Festival is perfect for you! Here, you will see thousands of animals gathered for sale and purchase, including not only camels but also horses and cattle. The interesting part is that while animals can be bought and sold anywhere, at this festival, they engage in activities with guests, which add to the excitement. You can enjoy camel polo, camel racing, thread pulling, and many other activities that you can participate in.

Pushkar is an enchanting small town located on the edge of a desert area, separated from it by Nag Mountain, the Snake Mountain. Coming to Pushkar from the city of Ajmer, you’ll be greeted by stunning views of these mountains.
This town, frequently visited by devotees, lies beside the serene Pushkar Lake, featuring a multitude of bathing Ghats and temples similar to those in Varanasi, India. However, Pushkar and Varanasi have completely different histories and experiences to offer.
The Pushkar Camel Fair is one of the most unique festivals of its kind in the world, combining an animal fair and a religious fair. Both aspects are enchanting and possess their own unique qualities. According to the Indian calendar, the fair occurs during the month of Kartik, culminating on Kartik Poornima (Full Moon). We have already mentioned the normal calendar dates in the tour inclusions for clearer understanding.

During our private tour of this city, we will explore the highlights of the sprawling City Palace and admire the beautifully carved sandstone facade of the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds). We’ll also take time to explore the local bazaars. Additionally, upon request, you will have the chance to enjoy a cooking experience and dinner at a local family’s home, which we can include as part of your itinerary.
