Seven Years. One Standard That Never Moved.
Founder Ashfaq Ahmad started out as a travel assistant, guiding wildlife and heritage tours for other operators — learning the terrain, the trust, and what it actually takes to make a foreign guest feel safe. In 2019 he built Dream Day Tours from the ground up, GST- and Udyam-registered with the Government of India from day one. Seven years on, that same hands-on instinct runs through a full team of local guides, planners, and drivers — taking travelers well beyond the Golden Triangle, into the India most first-time visitors never get shown.

Off-screen, he’s also one of our sharpest itinerary planners, shaping the day-by-day details that make a trip run smoothly. He works with us by choice, as an independent freelancer who could take his talents anywhere — he chooses to keep telling India’s story through ours.
Meet Afsar Ahmad — "Apple" to Everyone Who Knows Him
Some nicknames are just given. Afsar’s was earned — his team and friends have called him “Apple” for so long it’s practically his real name now.
A government-approved guide with two years by our side, he brings a genuine, almost restless passion for history and heritage to every tour — the kind that turns a monument into a story.

Ali never sat in a classroom. Not for geography, not for history, and not for a single one of the six languages he now speaks. Born and raised in Jaisalmer, he’s spent the last fifteen years learning the desert the way it’s always been taught — by living in it.
No souvenir stalls, no scripted stops. Just Ali, the dunes, a sky with more stars than you knew existed, and a night of stories no classroom could have taught him.

There’s a version of this page where the owner’s photo is the biggest thing on it. Ashfaq has spent years quietly making sure that’s not this page — he’d rather you meet the team first, because the real measure of Dream Day Tours isn’t the name on the registration certificate. It’s whether you felt it was genuine while you were living it.
He trained in electrical engineering, on a path that had nothing to do with deserts, tigers, or twelve-hour road trips through Rajasthan — until life had other plans. He walked away from what he’d studied and started over in tourism from zero. What followed was nine years of genuinely earning it, working as a VIP concierge guide for some of the best-known names in the industry, before building Dream Day Tours on his own terms in 2019.
Today he still runs the heart of it himself — operations and reservations, hands-on, with just two trusted people beside him. No call centre, no middleman between your enquiry and the person who actually cares whether your trip goes right.
