Booking and Cancellation Policy with Terms
& Conditions
Why Book With Us
At Dream Day Tours, a booking isn’t complete until you’re genuinely comfortable with every detail your itinerary, your payment method, and exactly what is and isn’t included. We’d rather answer one more question before you pay than have you book with any uncertainty.
That’s the principle behind everything below: clear pricing, flexible payment options, and a cancellation policy that’s written in plain language, not fine print.
Payment Policy
We accept a range of payment methods so you can pay the way that’s easiest and most cost effective for you, wherever in the world you’re traveling from
- Credit Card — processed through a secure payment gateway
- Wise — a low-fee, widely trusted option for international transfers
- Revolut — increasingly popular worldwide for its low transfer costs
- Bank Transfer — directly to our company account
- Cash on Arrival — available in select circumstances, in your home currency or INR, if other payment methods aren’t practical for you
All payment gateways and your personal details are fully secured. Only a small deposit is required to confirm most bookings — the exact amount depends on the specific tour.
Every quote clearly states what’s included in your package price, what’s excluded, and what would be charged as an additional cost. If anything is unclear, please ask us before you pay — a clarifying question costs nothing, while a misunderstanding can cost trust on both sides. We’d always rather explain a detail twice than have a guest feel surprised later.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation terms vary by tour category. Please review the terms relevant to your booking below.
Same-Day Tours
- Free cancellation up to 7 days before your tour date
- Non-refundable within 7 days of the tour date
- Tours booked for major dates (Christmas, New Year, Indian festivals) are non-refundable from the date of booking, and are confirmed only once payment is received
- Tour Included Tiger Safari in non-refundable (we mentioned the reason below)
Golden Triangle Tours & Multi-Day Experiences
- 50+ days before travel: Free cancellation, full refund
- 30–49 days before travel: 20% cancellation charge applies
- Within 30 days of travel: Non-refundable, except where our hotel and transport partners offer their own cancellation relief for those specific dates in which case, we pass that relief on to you. Where no such relief exists, the booking is charged in full with no refund.
Tours Including a Tiger Safari
Any tour that includes a Ranthambore tiger safari is non-refundable once booked, regardless of how far in advance you cancel. This reflects the forest department’s own permit system, where safari permits are booked and paid for in advance on your behalf and cannot themselves be cancelled or refunded once issued.
Terms & Conditions
Health and Safety
Before you book, please let us know about any health conditions, mobility needs, or safety considerations we should be aware of including anything relevant if you’re joining an adventure activity, wildlife safari, or physically demanding part of your itinerary. This helps us confirm in advance whether a particular experience is a good fit for you, and to make any reasonable adjustments where we can.
Please don’t hesitate to ask us anything on this front, however small it may seem. An unaddressed health or safety concern can affect your wellbeing and our ability to look after you properly during the trip so we’d always rather talk it through beforehand than be caught off guard
mid-tour.
As noted above, we strongly recommend arranging comprehensive travel insurance, including medical cover, before you depart.
Responsibility and Liability
Dream Day Tours is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings and are expected to comply with local laws and customs throughout their trip.
Changes to Itinerary
Dream Day Tours reserves the right to adjust itineraries where necessary due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control (such as weather, road closures, or local disruptions). In any such case, we will make every reasonable effort to offer a comparable alternative.
Force Majeure
Dream Day Tours will not be held responsible for any failure or delay in fulfilling our obligations where this is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, or acts of terrorism.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will first be addressed through direct negotiation between the parties and, if necessary, resolved in accordance with the applicable laws of the relevant jurisdiction.
By booking a tour with Dream Day Tours, you agree to these terms and conditions. We look forward to creating an unforgettable travel experience for you. Safe travels!
A Note from Our Team
Bookings, payments, and cancellations are, at the end of the day, handled by people and mistakes or misunderstandings can happen on either side. If something ever feels off with your booking or payment, please talk to us directly before assuming the worst. We’d always rather sort out a genuine issue together than lose your trust over a misunderstanding.
Frequently Asked Questions
When is my booking actually confirmed?
Once we’ve received your deposit or full payment, as applicable to your tour. Before payment, a quote or itinerary is not a confirmed booking.
How much deposit do I need to pay to secure my tour?
This varies by tour — we’ll confirm the exact deposit amount for your specific package when you enquire.
Is it safe to pay by credit card, Wise, or Revolut?
Yes. All payments are processed through secure gateways, and your personal and payment details are protected throughout.
Why would I ever need to pay in cash on arrival?
This option exists as a fallback for guests who, for whatever reason, find our other payment methods impractical. We’d always recommend paying in advance through one of our secure digital methods where possible, simply because carrying and exchanging cash internationally carries its own risks that are outside our control.
What happens if I need to cancel my trip?
It depends on your tour type and how far in advance you cancel — see the Cancellation Policy above. As a general rule: the earlier you tell us, the more flexibility we can offer.
Why are tiger safari tours non-refundable, even far in advance?
Because Ranthambore safari permits are booked and paid for with the forest department in advance, on your behalf, and those permits themselves cannot be cancelled or refunded once issued — this isn’t a policy we’ve chosen, it reflects how the safari booking system itself works.
What if I need to cancel due to a genuine emergency?
Please contact us as soon as possible. While our stated policy is fixed, we always look at exceptional circumstances individually and will do what we reasonably can to help.
Can I change my travel dates instead of cancelling?
In many cases, yes date changes are often easier to accommodate than a full cancellation, subject to availability. Contact our team as early as possible to discuss options.
Will I get a refund if my flight is delayed or cancelled and I miss part of my tour?
Our cancellation policy applies to the tour itself and doesn’t cover external travel disruptions like flight delays. This is exactly why we recommend arranging comprehensive travel insurance before your trip.
Do you require travel insurance?
We don’t require it, but we strongly recommend it — comprehensive travel insurance, including medical cover, protects you against exactly the kind of unexpected disruptions our own cancellation policy can’t cover.
What’s included in my package price, and what isn’t?
Every itinerary we send clearly lists inclusions and exclusions. If anything is ambiguous, please ask before booking — we’re glad to clarify any line item.
Are there any hidden charges I should know about?
No. Anything outside your quoted price is stated upfront as an additional/optional cost (such as gratuities or monument camera fees) — nothing is added without your knowledge after booking.
What happens during peak season or major festivals does the policy change?
Yes, for bookings around major dates like Christmas, New Year, and Indian festivals, cancellation is non-refundable from the date of booking itself, given how far in advance hotels and vehicles must be secured for these periods.
Who do I contact if I have a payment or booking issue?
Our team directly, by email or WhatsApp reaches out with your booking reference and we’ll help resolve it as quickly as possible.
