Tour Overview
Some journeys through India show you monuments. This one shows you a civilization unfolding, chapter by chapter.
Starting in Delhi, where Mughal history and modern India sit side by side, this eleven-day journey carries you through Agra’s marble masterpiece, into Jaipur’s rose-hued forts, and onward into the heart of Rajasthan where Udaipur’s lakes shimmer beneath hilltop palaces, Jodhpur’s blue rooftops spill down from a fortress in the sky, and Jaisalmer’s golden sandstone walls rise straight out of the Thar Desert like something from a dream.
At Dream Day Tours, we don’t hand you a printed schedule and a driver’s number. Every step of this route is personally planned by our Jaipur-based team, accompanied by naturalist and heritage guides who know these cities the way locals do, and backed by a dedicated on-trip concierge you can reach anytime from the moment you land to the moment you fly home.
This itinerary is built for travelers who want more than a checklist: the quiet hush inside Amber Fort before the crowds arrive, a boat gliding across Lake Pichola at golden hour, the particular stillness of the desert just before a camel-back sunset. Every day is a new landscape, and every night, a handpicked place to rest.
Note: converted amounts are approximate and based on the current exchange rate. The final amount will be reconfirmed in your official quotation before payment. Not valid on major worldwide holidays or India’s biggest festivals (e.g. Diwali, Christmas, New Year)

Day-by-Day Itinerary
10 Nights / 11 Days India Tour
Delhi – Agra – Jaipur – Udaipur – Jodhpur – Jaisalmer – Delhi
Day 1 — Arrival in Delhi
Your journey begins as you land in Delhi, where our representative will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to settle in and ease into Indian time the city, with its layered history of empires and eras, will still be there tomorrow, ready to be explored properly.
Day 2 — Delhi Sightseeing
Step into Old Delhi’s Jama Masjid before winding through Chandni Chowk by rickshaw, past spice traders and centuries-old shop fronts that still hum with daily life. In the afternoon, discover Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar, two UNESCO-listed marvels that quietly trace the roots of Mughal architecture in India. Along the way, pass India Gate and the colonial grandeur of New Delhi’s government quarter.
Day 3 — Delhi to Agra
Drive to Agra, home to one of the world’s most recognized skylines. Explore Agra Fort’s red sandstone courtyards, once the seat of Mughal power, before making your way to Mehtab Bagh as the sun sets a quiet garden across the river offering one of the most romantic views of the Taj Mahal you’ll find anywhere.
Day 4 — Agra to Jaipur
Rise early for what many travelers call the highlight of their entire India trip: the Taj Mahal at sunrise, when the marble shifts color in the early light and the crowds are still thin. Afterward, journey toward Jaipur, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri, Emperor Akbar’s abandoned red-sandstone capital, frozen in time since the 16th century.
Day 5 — Jaipur Sightseeing
Climb to Amber Fort, perched above Maota Lake, and wander its mirrored chambers and vast courtyards a master class in Rajput architecture. Later, pass Jal Mahal for photographs before exploring City Palace and the celestial instruments of Jantar Mantar. Save some time for Jaipur’s bazaars, alive with textiles, gemstones, and handcrafted treasures.
Day 6 — Jaipur to Udaipur
Head south through the changing landscapes of rural Rajasthan toward Udaipur, the City of Lakes. As evening falls, drift across Lake Pichola by boat, watching the illuminated City Palace and Lake Palace glow against the water one of the most cinematic moments of the entire trip.
Day 7 — Udaipur Sightseeing
Spend the morning inside Udaipur’s City Palace complex, where courtyards and museum wings unfold the story of the Mewar dynasty. Visit Jagdish Temple, and then relax in the marble pavilions of Saheliyon Ki Bari. Udaipur moves at a gentler pace than the cities before it a good day to simply breathe it in.
Day 8 — Udaipur to Jodhpur
Travel onward to Jodhpur, the Blue City, where Mehrangarh Fort rises dramatically above a sea of indigo-painted rooftops. Explore its palaces and ramparts for sweeping views, and then wander the old city lanes near the Clock Tower, where the everyday rhythm of Jodhpur life plays out around you.
Day 9 — Jodhpur to Jaisalmer
Drive deep into the Thar Desert, watching the scenery shift from green fields to golden sand as you approach Jaisalmer. This is a city unlike anywhere else on the route carved entirely from honey-colored sandstone, glowing at sunset like it’s lit from within.
Day 10 — Jaisalmer & Desert Experience
Explore Jaisalmer Fort, one of the few forts in the world still inhabited by local families within its walls. Wander through Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, marveling at their intricately carved facades. As afternoon fades, head to the Sam Sand Dunes for a camel ride across the desert as the sun sets over the horizon a fittingly unforgettable close to your Rajasthan journey.
Day 11 — Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, carrying home a deeper understanding of India’s imperial past and Rajasthan’s desert soul and, we hope, memories that stay with you long after you’ve unpacked your bags
