Yes — most couples on this tour ask us to arrange something. Common requests are a candlelit dinner at the Amarvilas overlooking the Taj Mahal, in-room decoration on arrival, or a couple’s spa session at Rajvilas. Let us know when booking and we’ll put it together with the hotel in advance.
Is this truly private, or will we be grouped with other couples?
Fully private. Your car, driver, and guide are exclusively yours for all 5 days — no fixed group schedule, no other travelers.
How far in advance should we book, especially for the Amarvilas?
The Oberoi Amarvilas is one of the most in-demand hotels in India, particularly October–March. We recommend booking at least 2–3 months ahead for peak season, and earlier still if your dates include a specific anniversary or proposal date.
What's the most romantic time of year to do this tour
October to March — cooler, clearer days and pleasant evenings for the sunset at Mehtab Bagh and evenings on the Rajvilas terraces. Winter mornings can be misty around the Taj Mahal, which many couples find even more atmospheric for sunrise.
Is the sunrise Taj Mahal visit worth the early start?
For a romantic trip, yes — it’s the quietest the monument ever is, with soft light and far fewer visitors than any other time of day.
What payment methods do you accept, and is it safe to book online?
International card, bank transfer, or Revolut. You’ll receive a formal invoice under our registered business name — no requirement to pay everything in cash on arrival.
Do you handle visas as well as the tour?
We handle everything on the ground in India — hotels, guiding, private transport. Indian e-visas are applied for independently through the government portal, though we’re glad to advise on the process.
Can this itinerary be extended or adjusted — for example, adding Udaipur or a tiger safari?
Yes, easily. This is our signature 5-day Oberoi routing, but many couples extend it with Udaipur’s lake palaces, a private safari in Ranthambore, or an extra day in Jaipur.
Is the Taj Mahal open every day?
No — it’s closed on Fridays. If your dates include one, we’ll rearrange the sequence so you don’t miss the visit.
Do you provide travel insurance?
No, this isn’t included — we’d recommend arranging comprehensive travel insurance, including medical cover, before you depart.
Is this itinerary suitable for a short leisure break attached to a business trip?
Yes — this is a common way this tour is booked. Because it’s fully private with no fixed group schedule, it works well for travelers with a narrow window, such as a long weekend before or after business in Delhi or Mumbai.
Can we add Ranthambore and a tiger safari to this itinerary?
Yes, on request. We can extend the trip to include a stay at Oberoi Vanyavilas, a luxury tented camp beside Ranthambore National Park, with private jeep safaris included. This typically adds 2 days to the itinerary and can be positioned at the start or end of the trip.
Is this suitable for traveling with children?
Yes. Because everything is private — car, guide, and pace — timings and activities adjust around your family rather than a fixed group schedule. Let us know ages when booking so we can tailor sightseeing accordingly.
We have very limited time — can this be shortened or made more efficient
The 5-day version already keeps driving time to a minimum by using the most direct Delhi–Agra–Jaipur routing. If your window is shorter, we can also propose a 3- or 4-day version prioritizing the Taj Mahal and Jaipur highlights.
